My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Rosebud. This little wisp of a puppy (9 pounds at 12 weeks old) is a big dog in a tiny body. Such personality!

She is also very smart. She has already figured out how to use the doggie door when she needs to go outside to take care of personal matters. She learned to do that in a flash. She loves playing with the big dogs in her foster home and she has never met a toy she didn’t adore. As you might expect from a puppy her age, she is full of puppy energy. She is quite a climber! Her foster mom says she can climb like a squirrel.

When Rosebud has used up her puppy energy, she is an accomplished snuggler. She snuggles under her foster mom’s chin at night and never leaves until it is time to get up in the morning.

Our vet believes that Rosebud is a puggle mix. Puggles are a mix of pug and beagle. With her ear shape, she may have a bit of terrier as well. She is definitely one of the sought after designer dogs.

Rosebud’s new family should be ready to enjoy the joys and trials of puppy hood. With her energy level and small size, we don’t recommend that her new family have children under 5. High energy puppies and toddlers are not typically a good fit. Like all puppies, she will benefit from basic obedience training.
