My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Midnight is a shy and mysterious mini panther beauty. She loves to climb in high or hidden places, and lives for dinner time, treat time, second dinner time, catnip time, and string toy time! Midnight knows what she wants and has a distinct and unforgettable meow, which she will use to tell you all of her thoughts on the speed her food is being delivered (hint: not fast enough). Never fully growing to trust people after a difficult early life, Midnight has spent a lot of her life in the shelter and gets along great with other cats. It would warm our hearts to find Midnight her very own forever home to retire in, with a loving and patient human family who let her be her shy self.

Additional adoption info

There is an application and fee required for adoption of our kitties. We begin with a phone interview. If that goes well then an appointment is set up for the potential adopters to come and meet our kitties. If one is chosen a home inspection is scheduled. If that goes well the darling kitty is delivered and a follow up call will happen a week or so later.

Please contact us at adopt@azshfa.org for information on our wonderful kitties. After a brief phone interview we can set up an appointment to meet our kitties at the shelter.

More about this rescue

Safe Haven for Animals was founded in late 2004 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill shelter, with the mission of providing as many cats as possible with a safe and happy home, preventing untimely endings to their lives. There is no time limit on any cat's stay, ensuring that euthanasia is a last resort reserved only for those whose health conditions are irreparable. The core purpose of the organization is clear: to save the lives of cats. The joy of the shelter comes from the adoption process, where our goal is to unite each cat with a loving family, thereby enriching both the lives of the animals and the people who welcome them.
