*** ADOPTED ***
If you would like more information please contact Connie at conniel@andell.com . If you would like to adopt Linus, please fill out an adoption application at www.brusselsgriffonrescue.org
Meet Linus the Lovebug! Linus came into rescue with NBGR because his owners could no longer care for him.
He is quite the handsome fellow and weighs 14 pounds. We estimate his age to be between 5 and 6 years old. This awesome little guy is crate trained, walks on a leash and is house trained. He also enjoys a car ride and is well behaved in the car… Linus is also so eager to please, he would do great with some training and already knows how to “Sit” “Lay Down” and he knows what “Go outside” means… I mean really, what a catch!
And what a bundle of love you are getting with this guy! He is SO affectionate and sweet and absolutely LOVES to be held, (anyone willing to do so is good enough for him) and is always on the lookout for a lap or a person to cuddle and snuggle with. Linus is very friendly with adult people and will “Greet” absolutely anyone!
He can be a bit anxious when left alone however, so a home where people are around most of the time would suit him best. He could bark if left alone too long, so a condo or apartment setting might not be the right place for this little love bug. He just can’t wait for someone to be back with him, loving and cuddling! He can also be a bit camera shy, but with his good looks, maybe Linus can be convinced that having your picture taken is actually a good thing.
Linus is very friendly with other dogs and enjoys especially playing with other dogs that are his size. He is on the mellow side and not very hyper, but he will pay attention and is a bit anxious to know what his “people” will be doing next.
Last but not least, he can be a bit over excited about eating. He will need to have his food rationed, or in other words, no free feeding or this boy will have the tendency to pack on the pounds. Also, don’t fall for his “I’m Starving” look. He will try and manipulate you with his cute little face. (SO hard to resist, but we must!)
Linus the love-bug is Neutered, Micro chipped, up to date on his vaccinations and heartworm negative. He is on Heartworm prevention.
Do you have the lap space and the time to love on this little man?? He would surely love a home that will cater to his need to be cuddled!
Linus is currently being fostered in the Denver, Colorado area.
Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
