My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hope is a sweet tempered, quiet, five-year-old dilute-calico young lady.

Three years ago she was rescued by a Good Samaritan, from a life of abuse. She was then provided safety, food, shelter and lots of love. Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances, Hope's caregiver must find a caring home for her so she can continue her recovery.

Hope is physically healthy with no medical or unusual dietary needs. She has a sweet disposition and loves interacting with other cats in the home.

She is fearful of people. She needs a quiet home, preferably with another cat or even more than one. A gentle, soft-spoken person is ideal for Hope. She has improved greatly since her rescue three years ago. Hope enjoys playing with her kitty toys and with the other cats. She prefers to not be touched by people but will sit quietly on a lap for a few minutes for grooming. Instead of the usual meow, Hope sweetly trills. She has learned that it is safe to approach her caregiver's fingers and cautiously touch them with her nose.

Hope is a precious little kitty who will continue to find the bravery to accept human love and attention if she is placed in a quiet home with an encouraging and understanding caregiver. Please let us know if you are interested in giving Hope the home she deserves.
