Nyla came to us after being locked in a closet for 3 days with no food or water when her family was evicted from their home. She was traumatized and even though she only weighs 7 1/2 lbs, there was a force driving her to protect herself from any harm. She soon learned to accept love and a gentle touch and is now a cuddler, loves to be held or nearby. Nyla loves to take rides in the car, always eager to watch traffic or the scenery. She's been spayed, had a dental cleaning and a couple of retained baby teeth were pulled. She's been microchipped, current on her vaccinations. She's hesitant to be groomed, but in time we're hoping she'll trust again and accept that. A home where Nyla is never left for an extended period of time is perfect for her. No children under the age of 12; she is still hesitant when someone makes a quick move around her. But if she wants attention, she'll back up to your leg with a nudge for a gentle lift into your lap. Her age is estimated at 2 years of age. On a regular schedule, she seldom has a potty accident. She will bark when something is amiss to her, but otherwise a quiet, loving little gal.
