My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Located in Bristow, PA: Bellarina (Bella) is a happy bouncy little 5.5 lb sweetheart. Her past is unknown prior to her coming with the American Maltese Association Rescue (AMAR). She was dropped off at a local shelter with no information besides she was 6 years old. I believe she is deaf but that has not held her back. She is up-to-date on shots and is microchipped. During her recent dental the few remaining teeth she had were so bad it required the extraction of the rest. So she has no teeth. Although she was very shy at first, she is warming up very quickly. She likes to play and lay with you. It doesn't appear she was used to being held and loved on. She has done well with her brother and sister fosters. Don't know about cats. We are working on potty training. Bellarina came to us with three small mammary tumors. After being spayed and the tumors removed, the Vet believes there is no reason she wouldn't live a long and healthy life.

The perfect home for Bellarina is one that will provide allot of love and patience. She is an adorable little dog.
