Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Thor is a one year neutered male Newf. He's a little underweight right now and was recently shaved down probably because he was living in Arkansas where it's hot and humid. He's happy to be fattening up and had no problem getting on the counter to steal some green chile casserole. Thor is mellow and calm. He follows me from room to room and sleeps next to the bed all night. We're working on issues with housebreaking and is doing well with frequent trips outside. He's fearful in new places like a trail we haven't been down. When he perceives a threat that he can't see, he'll stand in front of me almost like he's guarding but when he sees the threat (people walking or jogging toward us), he's quick to dart behind me for safety. Two dogs ran toward us during one walk and poor Thor tucked his tail between his legs and tried to avoid them. But he responded just fine when the dogs wanted to sniff and say hello. He is a sweet gentle giant that doesn't require a lot of exercise and is happy to doze while we watch a movie.
He was surrendered for being aggressive with small dogs and cats.
