My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello! My name is Ozzy and I am a very sweet, 12 year old Orange Winged Amazon. I will visit with anyone regardless of who you are as I am an indiscriminate lover! I do like to talk, but my foster family can’t make out quite yet what I have been saying, although I do sometimes clearly say “Hello”. In fact, they say I am very “un-parrot like” because while I like to mumble a lot, I am not very loud. Food is NOT an issue for me – I love anything you give me and my new foster family easily switched me over to a wonderful diet of pellets, fresh vegetables, some fresh fruits, and healthy nuts. My foster family says I am a joy and that anyone would be lucky to have me – so maybe you will come and meet me soon?

An avian veterinarian has properly vetted all birds before they are placed up for adoption. Adoption fees include the bird’s cage IF the bird has a cage - most do, but please ask!
