Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Chance is being fostered in Alberta.
This lovely boy is Chance, an 11 year-old gentleman who would love to find a quiet, relaxed place to call his furever home. Chance is a sweet boy who will make a wonderful companion for a retired couple who is looking for a doggie buddy to go for walk with. Chance is excellent on-leash and really likes his daily walks with his foster mom. At his age he doesn't need to run marathons or set any distance records but an older couple looking for a walking buddy will be pleased with Chance's companionship!
Chance spent his whole life with one family as a much-loved family member. Due to unforeseen circumstances, Chance needed to say good-bye to his beloved family and enter rescue but you can tell he was well cared for and spent a life being loved. He would very much like to find another family who will pamper and care for him in the same way.
Chance is excellent with other dogs and is fine with dog savvy cats. He will need a home with no kids living or visiting under the age of 16 or so. He is uncomfortable with small children and would like to spend his golden years without the worry of little hands pulling on him. He will be happiest with some grown-up companions to spend his days with.
Chance is an alert-barker - so when someone comes to the door, he's going to let you know they are there! However, when told thank you, that's enough, Chance settles down and is happy to let guests in for a visit.
If you are looking for a sweet boy to watch TV with at night and who will lie quietly by your bed while you sleep, a boy who will go for short walks with some time to stop and smell the roses along the way, then Chance might be your furever boy!
Please visit the CRN website at www.collierescuenetwork.com for more information on how to adopt Chance. Please take the time to fully read the adoption process listed on the website under Adoption Process. Note that a $350.00 adoption fee applies to all dogs adopted through Collie Rescue Network.
