Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This sweet young (18mth old) girl came with the name Gorda. Well, once she got to her foster home, it was decided that she needed a better name - one more appropriate for the pretty, delicate and resilient girl that she is. So the name that was chosen for her was Macy, which means enduring, happy and upbeat - a fitting name for her. Macy has settled in nicely in her foster home. She loves her foster brother Mickey and has quickly made friends with other dogs she has met. She is a smaller gal at around 45lbs and very easy.
She loves people and loves nothing more than to be near the people she knows. She is affectionate, sweet and very loving, greeting everyone she meets with tail wags and kisses. She is very well-mannered when walking on leash, content to walk right by your side without pulling. Her foster mom is working with her on crate training and she is learning quickly. She is very smart and learns fast and bonds easily with her caretakers and other dogs in the home. Once she feels comfortable, there is not a sweeter dog in the world. Macy would do well in almost any family situation. She would love to have a yard where she can run and play. It is impossible not to love this girl who loves everyone she meets.
