Kalypso is being fostered in Dallas and is now ready for a new home. She loves her foster parents and having contact with them - always looking for a chin scratch or a hug. Kaly is leery of strangers and can be protective of her home. She will need an experienced dog owner to work with her confidence and teaching her that it is okay for others to enter their home. This sweet girl gets along with all the other dogs in her foster home and has free run of the house while her people are away at work, spending the day snoozing on her dog bed. She is in good weight at 55 lbs and walks well on a leash. She loves car rides and just wants to spend time with her foster mom and dad. She is a very quiet hound that rarely barks unless she is ready to come in and even then it's one quick arrooo! Kalypso is housetrained and cratetrained. Kalypso would love to give up the pirate life and settle into a forever home.
