Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Amy is a gentle and sweet puff girl of 11. Amy is a little world weary and seems to
have been through a bit, but she is warm and loving and wants to cuddle. She is very
intelligent and easy to handle and gets along well with all the dogs in her foster
home, from the largest to the smallest. Amy is a great relaxer and she loves to be on
her back in a bed or hanging sideways off the back of the couch. She never met a
bed that she didn't like! Amy also loves her chow but doesn't eat too much. She takes
treats very gently. She walks well on a leash and would like to get more exercise with
her forever person. She also likes to be gently brushed and groomed. Her coat is
beautiful and should only improve with her better diet. She is intelligent and learned
the ropes at her foster home quickly. She loves to hang around, goes out in the yard
often, and is fine when left alone. What Amy lacks in outward exuberance, she more
than makes up for in her calm steadiness and her quiet devotion. She will lay next to
her person and lift her head to give a little kiss now and then as a little reminder that
she loves them. She bonds quickly and will follow her person around and wait for
them patiently when they are out. Amy is a senior with a lot left to give. If you ever
wanted the perfect companion dog, this is the one!
