Zoey is an adorable, bouncy puppy that is naturally curious about the world around her. She loves going for walks, doing zoomies in the yard, and learning new things. She knows her basic commands (sit, stay, down, back up) and is eager to please.

Zoey would do best with an experienced family who will continue to work with her to overcome her shyness around new people and cautiousness in new environments. Because of her bouncy puppy energy, she would do best in a home with older children, ages 12 and up. Proper introductions are required with other dogs to see if it is a good match, but she tries to play too rough with cats, which is why cannot stay in her current foster home.

After Zoey was rescued in July 2014, she received treatment for a bad case of mange. All of her fur has grown back beautifully except for a dark patch of skin on her back that is still filling in and does not bother her at all. She is crate trained, house trained, up-to-date on vaccines and will be spayed and microchipped before being placed into her new foster or forever home. She is a Shepherd/Lab mix about 7 months, weighing 44 pounds. Adoption Fee: $75.
