Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This is Sara! She is a two year old American Pit Bull Terrier mix. She is a snuggly, funny, athletic dog. She loves going for walks and rides in the car (preferably to a local ice cream stand). She likes to ride in golf carts (see photo) or place herself into bizarre yoga positions for sleeping (see couch photo). She enjoys meeting people at Crocker Park (especially at Brio, where she once conned someone into sharing their appetizer - see photo). Sara is obedience and ecollar trained - you can see her practicing her distance down stay. She likes to play hide and seek in her tunnel and her tunnel can go with her to her new home. To the lucky person or family who adopts Sara - please let her sleep in your bed with you. She is the best snuggle bunny, loves to cuddle up, and she gets very cold at night in the winter. She will stay in a crate (metal tray) if desired though has never chewed anything in her previous home. She would be happy to chew on a nylabone all day while her parents are working. Those are her favorite toys. Sara needs a fenced yard to burn off energy. She should be homed with no other dogs - she was in a home with cats and is good with them, though once in a while she tries to play too rough (she's a strong girl) and is easily re-directed by snapping your fingers and telling her "Out" - which is her command for leave it/drop it/stop it. She also enjoys walking on a treadmill and this will be important to make sure she gets adequate exercise, especially with winter coming. She has no allergies or medical issues. She likes older children, ten and up. She has never been exposed to infants or toddlers so should younger children be in the family or visit, please observe them carefully. Sara is current on her vaccines as of July 2014 and is spayed. Sara's family loves her dearly but she began to have trouble getting along with one of the other dogs in the house and it was determined that it would be best to find a new place for Sara to be a star. Please love her. Her family is heartbroken.
