My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Little Scrappy is an incredibly sweet 14 year old neutered Golden/Yellow Lab mix. Scrappy, is a funny little guy who likes to go on walks in the mornings and evenings. He is leash trained and does not pull even if other dogs walk by. He will get a little excited if he sees a squirrel in close proximity.

Scrappy likes his routines and his treats but don't worry he will remind you when he needs to go out by standing by the door and will sit by where the treats are stationed until you remember to give him one. He likes to be near you but doesn't need constant attention. He is completely house broken but does like to get on a comfortable couch cushion. He came from a home with kids and dogs. He is good with both and not aggressive. He will get snippy if he is on a leash and another dog is running circles around him. Otherwise, he is the most even tempered dude there is. Scrappy is just a really laid back dude and easy to maintain.

He is in incredible health for 14 years and definitely has quite a few more years in him. His hips bother him if he has to jump into a car but other than that he doesn't have any problems. Scrappy prefers an owner that is home often and needs a home without any steps. He is a well behaved dog, who can manage on his own. Scrappy is an inside dog, but enjoys a daily walk and sniffing in a backyard.
