Meet the handsome and dashing Dante! This 1.5-year old boy is a big, goofy bundle of energy ready for adoption!

Just starting training class, Dante is working on his dog-to-dog interactions but learned to love his foster siblings. He could share his home with another dog, big or small, once properly introduced. A stubborn boy, he is also working hard on his listening and leash skills. Luckily he is food motivated and a treat will draw his rapt attention.

Generally mellow, Dante lives for his daily walks and gets excited anytime he sees his leash come out. His perfect forever family should be willing to give this boy the adventures he so deserves; he isn’t overly interested in fetch and like so many pit bulls, melts like sugar when near water.

Dante is great with kids and is relatively mindful of his size, being sure not to knock them over. He could also do fine in a house with a dog-savvy cat. Dante does wonderful when left alone while you’re out and prefers not to be crated. He’d be content to sleep all day on his bed until you come home.
