11 week old (to be neutered) male Lab, Pit, Boxer, Mastiff? mix, BIG paws and lots of extra skin on this already 16 pound baby boy...
meet Noir... looks like your average black Lab mixed mutt, probably some Pit, but his coat is brindle, very dark and very subtle and with the extra skin and wrinkles we can only guess that maybe we've got another Mastiff mixed baby here or a Boxer mix... only time will tell. His reason for death (not anymore!) is because he can't see... he's not completely blind, in fact his eyes appear "normal" (brown and bright), but the float about, the shelter vet assessed him as seeing shadows (which means he can see bright lights too, just like our Grace). So a special needs baby has arrived. Named in honor of one of my dearest friends and she knows why - he's our *type* of dog.
Our standard requirements for blind dogs are as follows:
In order to apply, please consider the following:
1. Securely fenced yard
2. INDOOR pet
3. At least one other similar sized dog of sound temperament
He is being fostered in an experienced blind dog home to insure his socialization.
