Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, my name's Tux short for Tuxedo!
I'm a husky/border collie cross, neutered male. I'm a young 8 years old, ok I'm a senior, I love to relax outside under a nice tree in the nice weather. I love going for walks and I do still enjoy playing with a toy or 2.
Don't let the fact that I'm part husky discourage you, except for my husky fur I am quite laid back, come on I'm 8, I just want to relax and enjoy my life.
I enjoy children, but also like my space, I like other dogs, some times I play, some times I just chill away from them, I also don't mind cats.
My ideal home would have a backyard that I could lay out in when it's nice fenced or not fenced doesn't matter to me, I'm not a runner. If there's a tree in your backyard that would be awesome, but if not maybe you could think of something for me to lay underneath in the shade?? As long as I have a yard to chill in it doesn't matter if I'm in a town, city or out in the country. For the beginning of my life I lived on a farm, the middle of my life I lived in a big city in a house with a yard and now my foster home is in a small town with an open backyard.
My adoption fee is $250, I am neutered, utd on all my vaccinations, been dewormed twice and treated with revolution. I've also been vet checked - they think I may have seasonal allergies and/or grain allergies but since being in my foster home nobody has noticed any but they do have me on a grain free food which hey I love. I don't eat a lot of food each day so a big bag lasts me longer than it would with a younger dog. When I'm adopted the rescue will send the rest of my food with me to get you started and so you know what food I'm on and doing really well with.
If you think I'm the right guy for you, please visit the rescue's website and complete the online adoption application - you won't be disappointed - I promise
