My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pebbles is an 8 year old Chihuahua. She came to us from the NYC Animal Care and Control. She was an owner surrender due to changes in situation. They spoke highly of Pebbles and she was apparently a loved girl. Anyhow sadly it didn't keep her from ending up on death's door and we saved her with 2 minutes left to go-not kidding. So this girl's life is a gift and she wants a home where they know that she doesn't want to end up in this situation again.
Pebbles is quiet. She is shy. She allows all handling and she would prefer a calm home where she is loved. She seems to be a little scared of her foster brothers/sister dogs. She is doing nothing wrong and tolerates them but she would prefer to be the only dog or another quiet little one. We are recommending no children since this girl likes to be mellow. She has been seen by the vet and had blood work which all came back great. She is heartworm negative and started on preventative. She is dewormed as well. She has her basic vaccines and may need another depending where she ends up living. She is going to have a dental by our vet before she leaves. It is on the schedule.

Long Island area or very close by only. Must fill out application and have references, vet reference and home inspection. Must be over 21 to adopt.
