My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

What a great pleasure to introduce sweet Joy! She is friendly, affectionate and very easy too love. Joy is happiest being your silent shadow. She might be a bit happier if she could sit in your lap but is mild mannered with her opinions! As long as Joy is close to her foster mom or dad, she doesn't play favorites, she is quite content. The middle of the kitchen floor is her favorite place to hang loose and stretch out. Being gently brushed is her paradise as long as you leave her tail alone!

Short spells of playing "dirty" fetch is fun for Joy. Once Joy has the ball it is hers and Joy doesn't want to give it up. You just need several balls to toss. Sometimes Joy will ask to go out side. She likes short spurts in the back yard but needs to be let back in the house when she asks.

Joy seems to miss her former dog companions from time to time and would probably love having another dog around. Coming from a family with children, we assume Joy would like children as long as they are not too rambunctious.

She is not crazy about riding in a car but rides well once she is in & she will get in the car when asked. We have had no accidents in the house. When Joy hasn't asked to go out in a while, just invite her. If she needs to go, she will go outside; if not, she will gently decline.

Loving, obedient, patient and gentle, Joy will make a great companion dog for some lucky family!
