Here's what the humans have to say about me:
You will never meet a dog with a happier outlook on life than Pappy. Pappy greets you with a wiggle and a dance every single day. But his life has not always been so full of good times. We became aware of Pappy when it was reported that an elderly pit bull was seen hanging out underneath a parked van just outside the gates of the County Animal Shelter. He was so dejected and depressed that it appeared he could hardly get around. He got the name Pappy because it was assumed that he was in his grandpa years.
Our rescue was able to take in this little guy. Within 24 hours, we began to see the real Pappy. He danced, he wiggled, he smiled. Pappy was just glad to be alive. With this little dog around, you just cannot be in a bad mood. He has even convinced many a pit bull skeptic that his breed is one to be loved.
Pappy appears to be around 4-5 years old and is a very convenient compact size. He has never met a person he did not like and seems to get on with most other dogs. Certainly, this bundle of happiness deserves a home that will not abandon him. He deserves a person or family who will become his very best friend.
