Marie and Louie are eight year old brother and sister who were rescued from a shelter after their owner recently passed away. Now they are looking for their new loving forever family that will welcome them both. They have made it through so much together and they would surely be heartbroken to lose each other.
If you're looking for two sweet loving companions, please consider Marie and Louie - they're twice as nice! They are inseparable, with Marie being the leader, and Louie following close behind.
Marie is very friendly and loves to snuggle right next to you in bed and under the covers. She loves to give lots of kisses and have her belly rubbed! She enjoys being outside (at least while the weather is nice).
Louie is a bit taller than Marie, is very regal looking and affectionate. He likes to follow you around and loves for you to rub his tummy. He is happy laying on the couch next to you or in his bed. He has had all his teeth extracted except for two, but is doing great at eating dry dog food that has been wetted down (and loves when we add rice to it as an added treat).
They are a bit skittish when first meeting you, but enjoy getting attention from others and will warm up to you quickly. They get along well with other dogs, they are easy to please, are house broken and love using the doggy door. They love to snuggle with each other and with people, and will surely appreciate snuggling in bed with their new family. We are not sure how they will do with children, but due to the fragile nature of their breed, we would recommend children over the age of 7. They love each other very much and hope a nice family will adopt them together so they can live out their lives in each other’s company. They are well behaved, very sweet and looking for a family to share their love with in exchange for some pampering and companionship. In return, they will love you forever, snuggle with you lots, and brighten your life for years to come!
