Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is Jem! My friend Radley and I were brought to an Tennessee shelter where we waiting for our families. When no one came looking, they called AGK to see if they could take both of us because I did not want to leave my friend behind. And they said - well of course! YAY! Everyone thought at first that we were bonded, but we are not. We just relied on each other for comfort at that shelter. So, I am about 2 years old. I am what you refer to as "Flat Coat Retriever" or "Black Golden". I am rather calm for a young boy and house trained. I love other dogs and I love attention from humans. I am healthy although I have a tick borne disease called Ehrilicia that is treated with antibiotics.
If interested in Jem, please visit our website www.adoptagoldenknoxville.org and fill out an application.
