Meet Poppi! This sweet old girl was found wandering stray with a horrible infection from fleas. A good samaritan brought her to a vet to have her cleaned up and medicated. No one ever came to claim her so she became a Southern ROOTS girl. Poppi is fully vetted and microchipped now and her sores are healing. She is a typical lab...she doesnt have a mean bone in her body and LOVES food and people( in that order). She is in a foster home with another dog and a cat and does well with both. She is crate trained and housetrauned. Because Poppi is an older girl, we are not asking for a set adoption fee because we know that senior dogs have medical issues beyond the basics that her new owner will need to look into eventually and we want her new family to focus on quality care for her retirement years.. We are asking for a " donation" as her adoption fee to the perfect approved applicant..however transport fees to your area are non negotiable. Poppi is a lazy girl that enjoys her sleep and would make a wonderful cuddle buddy for someone.Let us know if you can give Poppi a wonderful place to spend her retirement years.
