My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Zoey and I am desperately looking for my forever family who will cuddle with me until the end of time. I was sadly abandoned out in the country where I was left to defend myself, but luckily a family brought me to the Mayflower Animal Control. Of course, it is not where I want to settle for a length of time, so PLEASE if any of you can open up your home to me with loving arms and a caring environment, rather it is adopting or fostering me, I would be more than grateful!

I am a 3 to 4 month old Border Collie/Aussie Mix who has a lovable personality. When I am full grown I will be no bigger than 45 pounds. My favorite activity is snuggling and playing tag. Extremely friendly with cats and LOVE other dogs as my playmates. Plus, I am a family pup, so if you are looking for that special baby girl who will grow up to be your child's best friend, I am the perfect addition to your family bundle.

This past Saturday, one of the Mayflower volunteers was devastated when she had to take me back to the shelter and cried while she held me in her arms. To reassure her, I licked away her tears telling her it will all workout. Someone will fall in love with me sooner than you know it.

Please make my promise and dream come true as soon as possible. All I want is unlimited kisses and hugs, and there is no better place than in my family's arms.
