My basic info
Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Little Henry has an eye defect but no lack of love, affection and playfulness! He has occular adhesions which come with mixed opinions as to the surgical efficacy verses permanent disability. This involves his third eyelid being stuck open at times, watering of the eye and so on. He has limited vision as a result of this problem as well.
Henry was trapped a bit later then some kittens, over three months of age. At first, he was hiding most of the time but in an amazing turn around, he learned to trust and be out enjoying being a kitten within just a week or so.
We had him fully vetted and neutered as well as microchipped so he could interact with other cats and catch up with socialization. His foster siblings helped him along, licking him and loving him and even teaching him how to play and feel safe. He has made remarkable progress.
We have had mixed opinion regarding the efficacy of surgery. His condition involves his third eyelid in this case and it stays open more then it should. The eyelid is also darker then usual and there is watering of the eye at times. He has lmited vision in that eye but we are told he is not in pain or distress.
Henry needs a home where he can continue to enjoy being a kitten and growing into a beautiful tiger kitty. He LOVES other cats and enjoyes playing and sleeping against them. We have never heard him his or growl but he does love to chat at times, and loud. He has a six cylinder motor as well.
Henry is fully vetted, altered and microchipped. All the usual incentives apply to him as well. Because of costs involved with a surgical opthamological evaluation we are asking for at least a 50.00 donation but of course more is helpful!
