Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
DARREN: Brown & white German Shorthair Pointer, 2-3 years old, 54 lbs, neutered male, HW negative. Adoptable now. Best with an active adopter. WOW, brains and beauty all in one happy guy! Darren arrived at the shelter riding in a cop car from the Murray Creek area. He knows his sit, down and heel commands (told you he's a smart guy), got a perfect score on his evaluation and is a superb flying insect snagger. He hones in on them and eats them on the wing. True to his breed, he's not a cuddler but he did give the evaluator a quick kiss in the kennel. Come meet Darren and he's likely to snag your heart. He'll need a rabies shot but can hop into your transporter unit TODAY and begin his new lifelong adventure with you. Since DARREN is already neutered, your wait timme for him will be minimal. Contact Calaveras County Animal Services 754-6509.
