BRODY is 14 weeks old and one of five puppies from a litter. His parents are both known and well behaved dogs living in a good home. Both are pitbull mixes. Dad is a brown brindle weighing 72 pounds and Mom is all white weighing about 65 pounds. We expect Brody to be a big boy if he follows in his parents footsteps. He is currently about 25 pounds. Brody does great with dogs and people. He currently lives with 6 other dogs and 3 young children. He does not take cues from dominant dogs and will challenge them regardless of their size. He is really good with children. He will allow them to cuddle and sit with him for long periods of time without being fidgety or nervous. He is socialized and we are working on him learning to accept dominant dogs as part of the pack. He does really well with submissive dogs of all sizes. He sleeps in a crate at night quietly. He has not quite grasped the idea of house training yet. He will chew on anything that is not moving so a responsible owner needs to puppy proof the house and monitor him at all times. Applications can be submitted now. We are not first come first served. We want the best for our pups and we do give priority to families that can prove previous pet ownership for the entire life span of a previous or current dog. Brody is not available for adoption until early/mid September. At that time he will be fully vaccinated, neutered, and micro-chipped. Please be patient with applications submitted for puppies. Our screening process for puppies can take 2-3 weeks. Brody is not attending adoption events at this time. Meet and greets will be arranged after an application has been submitted and reviewed.
