Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Powell is a 4-5 month old pup who was dumped at a high kill shelter with his sister. We had gotten the sister out but then found out that Powell had been left behind and being a black pup, his odds were not good. He is currently living with a dog trainer foster and is learning about boundaries and rules. He is a very smart pup and in 3 days, has really stepped up and become a fun and happy member of the pack. He lives with many other dogs, enjoys playing with one especially but is most happy snuggling with and following the foster throughout his day. His housebreaking is coming along but a potential adopters has to remember that Powell is still very young and will need time to learn...accidents will happen. Powell is a happy guy who will make a wonderful family friend.
Powell's adoption donation is $300 to cover vetting, transport and care while with rescue. Love A Mutt Pet Rescue is a 501c3 public charity and all monies go to help dogs in need. LAMPR cannot and does not guarantee the breed mix or temperament of any dog. It is up to the adopter to train and care for the dog to make that dog a member of their family.
Thanks for considering a rescue.
