9/4/14 - Hi, my name is Teddy and my previous mom fell on hard times and, although it was a very hard decision for her, she surrendered me to rescue to I could find a new home to love me like she did.

Here at my new home, there’s lots of books to read. I picked up the dictionary, to help me make up a bio for myself, and while perusing it, I came across these words: FRIEND: Someone one knows and likes, and to whom one shows loyalty and affection; a close or intimate acquaintance; LOYALTY: To be faithful and true; AFFECTIONATE: A moderate feeling or emotion; a tender attachment. Yep, this pretty much sums me up.

I am a true lap dog and love to be by my humans and in their laps---all the time. I also love to lick hands. Some would think it's excessive, my foster parents just think that I love to groom my people. I love men and women all the same and have no preference as long as I’m getting attention. I can be a whiner and will whine when I want to be in your lap and want attention.

I must have had a long lost brother because Mocha here at my foster home has taken quite a liking to me and constantly wants to clean my eyes. I’m is fine with it, but don’t really play with Mocha or the other dogs here. Not a big fan of the toys either. Just want my people.

I’m doing ok on potty training, but will mark at times, so will need a belly band in a new home until I have the new schedule and home down. I eat well, but sometimes get a little growly guarding my bowl from the other pups. I don’t have a mean bone in his body, I’m just not used to these new pups being so close to my bowl while I’m dining.

I like to explore in the backyard and put one little eye up to the fence to spy on the neighbors. lol I have a very sweet personality and do not have any alpha tendencies. I just want the attention of my humans and am happy as a clam when I’m in your lap.

I absolutely LOVE to be brushed and will gently push another foster pup out of the way to get to the brush. Hey, a guy can worry about his appearance, can’t he?

Anyway, I seem to be in the market for a new mom and dad. I wouldn’t do well around small children so will need a home without those.
