My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Charlie Bear had been living on the streets of Modesto. Luckily some good samaritans took the time (it took 2 weeks) to get close enough to this puppy to catch him. Sadly we were not able to locate an owner. He is approximately 9 months old. We have had him neutered, all shots, on heart worm and flea tick preventative and he's been microchipped. He is about 20 pounds. He looks to be a papillon/terrier mix. He has a beautiful fawn color with a gorgeous black muzzle and black feathering around his ears and tail. He is a looker and just a really funny guy! He loves to play with anything and everything! Charlie Bear is fully house trained, able to sit and down and we are now working on stay. He learns fast and is the most loving dog we've had here. He loves to be held and sleeps in any position that works next to his person. He is a true cuddle bug! He gets along great with other dogs. He would be best suited to go to a person or family with at least one other dog and where someone is home most of the time. He will be happiest sleeping next to you and waking you up with hugs and kisses and spending his days by your side. He loves to go on walks and does very well on a leash. This is truly a wonderful dog and he's looking for a forever home. There is a $100 adoption fee. An application will be required and will be emailed to interested parties.
