My story

This is Maverick; she is presumed female and is a Lesser-Sulpher Crested Cockatoo. Age wise she is in her teens. She is a really sweet girl and is a complete shoulder bird. She loves to cuddle and enjoys spending time outside of her cage. She can be very vocal at times, therefore her adopter must be able to tolerate that and work with her. She is labeled as special needs and needs an experienced adopter due to her plucking issues. She has been slowly re-feathering since she has been at the rescue however she tends to overpreen and barber her feathers. Maverick steps up and enjoys both men and women equally. Her ideal home would be one where she can be an only bird.
