My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

1 -1 1/2 years old. Witnessed by a police officer being dragged behind a 4wheeler by her owner, she was confiscated on the spot & taken to city kill shelter placed in a 5'by8' kennel w/4 adult dogs. HS rescued all the dogs in that kennel. MARLEA was afraid of everything that moved, people, especially if you had something in your hand. Would not go thru a door. She has been w/foster MOM for 6 months and made great progress. She trust her foster MOM but still afraid of strangers.
She goes in & out of the house well now, plays well with other dogs and watches and learns from them. Food motivated/responds to treats in training. Not to be left loose in house/acts out at being left. Relishes attention & given time will be a wonderful companion. She may have to always be walked on a leash as if loose may become frightened or disoriented and bolt.
