My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Victoria is a very sweet girl who has Cushings disease. This causes a stress response throughout her body. It can be controlled by medication but will always be with her. She came to us with several issues but she is improving every day.

Miss Victoria loves to get pets and is a true golden as she never lets you leave a room alone. She is very loving and good natured. There were no problems at all introducing her to my herd of 3. Instant acceptance on all sides. We found out today that she loves swimming. In fact she will drag the pool cleaner out of the pool as it is in her way. She also objected to the wall scrubber and would fetch and drag it out of the pool. This is good as we can get in some water therapy to help strengthen her legs which have some muscle loss due to the disease.

Victoria is totally housebroken and has learned to use the doggie door. She has a little trouble as we haven't built up the muscles yet, but she makes it work. In time, Victoria will gain her strength, get her coat back and be a wonderful companion.
