My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ember is a Quarter Horse type yearling filly, sorrel with a flaxen mane/tail. She was saved from the Sunnyside Feedlot with her mother. Her mom was adopted out soon after her arrival. She came in completely afraid and untrained. The first time I sat in the round pen with her and some grain she showed me she wants to trust. By the time I left she was sure she could take the scoop I had the grain in. She was sure it was a toy that was meant for her mouth. From there she progressed further and further. She had a lot of fear about being touched but she worked through it. Now she picks up her feet and seems to want her own person. Toward the end of the school year a college student worked with her and got her leading and reduced her fear. The pair also worked on ground manners and it was discovered that Ember is a quick learner. She has a sound mind and will be an easy project for someone. Her adoption price is not a set amount, a donation of any amount is requested.
