Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lovely Lacey is a mature, but active Border Collie around 7 years old. She came to ARC because her owner died. The family members couldn't take her in, so she had the great misfortune of being turned over to an animal shelter. One of the ARC volunteers has a soft spot for the older gals and couldn't bear to leave her in the shelter.
Since coming to ARC, she has been trying to adjust to her drastic change in circumstance. Lacey is extremely devoted to her person, currently her foster mom, and would love to have someone to love forever.
Although mature, she is very energetic and definitely needs a family that will keep her busy. She is okay with other dogs but would prefer to be the one and only love of your life! Lacey is a Border Collie, after all, and likes to herd other dogs. Lacey does not get along well with cats.
If you are interested in learning more about Lacey, please contact us at www.arcbcr.org. You can also find our adoption application at www.arcbcr.org/apply-to-adopt/. Lacey is being fostered near Richmond, VA.
All ARCBCR dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on all vaccines, heartworm negative and on preventative, dewormed and on flea and tick preventative before going to their forever homes. If interested in this pup, please fill out an online application on our website, www.arcbcr.org, and an ARC volunteer will contact you regarding your home evaluation to see if you and this pet are a good match. Please consider making a donation to help the ARCBCR Border Collies.
