Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Brenna was found as a stray during the middle of a snowstorm and it appeared that she may have been on her own for some time. However, despite her rough life prior to rescue she is still the very definition of sweet. She is submissive and trusting of people and all she wants to do is please.
Brenna appears to be all border collie, she is a petite girl and could probably put on a few pounds as she was quite underweight when she first came into rescue. She is very bright and learns quickly. Brenna is house broken, crate trained, and has great house manners. She is an active girl and can be quite herdy around other dogs but she gets along well with others. She doesn't show much interest in the cats in her foster home. She settles nicely when inside and is happy just to hang out near you.
Brenna can be very intense and focused around livestock so probably would not be a good working dog, she does not have much interest in toys or playing fetch. She would, however, be a wonderful active running or hiking partner. Because of her herding drive, she will not be placed in a home with children under 12 years old.
Brenna bonds closely with her people and she gives the absolute best border collie hugs! She is looking for an active forever family that will cherish her for the gem that she is!
