Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Jonagold is part of an accidental litter of puppies who were born in early April and who were transferred to CHA by a local humane agency. While it is known that his mother was a lab mix, his father was a mix of several extra-large breeds of dog. All the siblings look different but some of the breeds could include Greater Swiss Mountain Dog, Saint Bernard, Great Dane, and/or Mastiff. This adorable boy already weighs 40 pounds (he is one of the larger puppies in the litter) and he is only 4 months old. He is a smooth-coated tricolor puppy. It is expected that he could weigh anywhere between 90-110 pounds when full-grown. Jonagold and his siblings have lived in one home their entire lives and have not been exposed to many new things. All of the puppies really want attention and to be loved, but they are very shy and unsure of their new surroundings. Everything is new to them including walking on leash, meeting new people, and figuring out how to play with toys. Jonagold would thrive in a home environment where he can get lots of attention and where he can build his confidence. Though he is still adjusting to the shelter, his curiosity is very strong and he is quick to investigate new things.
