My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lucky is a 22 yr. old Appaloosa gelding. He will make a great trail horse. He is 15 hands. He is suitable for an advanced beginner. Adoption Fee $300.00

On August 9th, 2014, we received this message from Lucky's previous foster home:

Here is my experience with Lucky..he can be trail ridden, day or night, he doesn't care if he is in the lead or last horse in line. He doesn't mind going out alone either, sometimes you just need to be "one" with your horse and he is perfect for that. He never tried to eat on trails and rarely ever spooked. We had a runaway shoot past us on the bonifay trail ride and he never missed a beat, even when 3 or 4 cowboys shot past chasing said runaway. Lucky never even broke into a trot. If I asked him to stand on a trail so I could talk to my friends, he didn't move a muscle. We got turned around on the pink trail at Coldwater one evening and he carried my sister through the pitch dark like he had done it a million times. Never spooked, acted up, went through water like a champ and led us all back to camp without a second thought. He is an amazing horse who deserves the best possible owner to allow him live out his golden years.
