Hi! I'm Xavier and I am about a year old and am looking for my forever home.
I'm a special boy because when I was young, I was hit by a car and broke my back leg, the vets decided that I could get by without it, so now I'm a tripod and loving life!
I absolutely LOVE people. In fact, I really don't ever want to be alone so I need a family with some patience to help me learn that I really will be there forever. I've been bumped around to a few different places so I get anxious when people leave me. But I'm really working on that and am doing much better at my trainer's house.
I get along with dogs that are about my size. I prefer to play more gently though because I can get a little off-balance because of my 3 legs and that makes me very nervous. So a nice (cute!) female or docile male would be a great fit for me. I have learned a lot about different types of play with my dog buddies and keep learning more every day!
I'm currently in boarding in Northern Illinois at my trainer's house. I will be ready for a forever home on August 22nd. I hope you choose me!
