Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Luna is a well built grade quarterhorse mare, approximate date of birth is spring, 2006. She came to Ruby Ranch from a neglectful situation. Luna is a smart girl, sensitive to energy and has caught on easily in the roundpen. She is curious, easy to catch, friendly and stands well for the farrier. At 8 years old Luna is 14.2+H and weighs about 1050 lbs.
Update: Luna is in big girl school with Anna Blake at Anna Blake Training (www.annablaketraining.com) where she is wearing a saddle and bridle, getting ready to introduce a rider. Then she's off to Lori Torrini at Deseos Arabians(www.deseosarabians.com) for a start under saddle. Thanks to a training grant from the Animal Assistance Foundation.
Update: Luna is back at Ruby Ranch where she is continuing her saddle training with Tanya Lowe, RRHR on-site trainer. She is green and needs a person with training skills to bring her along. Luna is most suitable as a pleasure/trail horse. She may always need front trail boots or shoes. Vet assessment and x-rays show that Luna has hoof soles that are slightly thin. Shoes or boots will prevent any development of soreness when ridden on rocky or hard terrain.
