My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Wilma was a death row dog at the Aiken Shelter. Not only was she set to be euthanized, unless a rescue pulled her age had no chance. Why you ask... Wilma was heartworm positive. Another rescue was going to pull her and had sponsored her treatment, but she looked too much like a pit bull so they could not take her. With the help of Heartbeats and LEASH, Wilma was saved. She went through heartworm treatment like a champ and is ready for adoption. She's a real princess and she likes for things to be her way.
