My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Luna is an 8-lb, approximately 2yo female Chihuahua/Papillon mix who was found under the moon one night in a rough industrial area of Van Nuys, CA. She ran right up to her rescuers and curled up in their arms. Extremely loving and easygoing, she is great around other dogs but is more of a “people dog” and cuddle bug. She quickly bonds to everyone after greeting you with a wagging tail, and if you allow it, she’ll snuggle right into your lap. If you’re not fast enough, she’ll steal the softest spots on the couch or bed, too! She’s not shy in the slightest bit and is great around kids. While she hasn’t met any cats just yet, her fosters think she’ll do great with them as well.

She's 99% potty trained (she's had two accidents in a week-- not bad!), but her fosters are confident that will turn into 100% soon enough. She does require some leash training - her fosters think she was never walked outside on a leash before, so they are slowly easing her into it with some short walks.
