FOSTER LOCATION: Salt Lake City, UT


This big lug loves human company; he really enjoys just sitting by you so you can pet him and with his super soft coat you won’t want to stop! He’s great with kids and knows to be gentle with them; though due to his size (100 pounds) we require kids over 5. This gentle giant just wants to be with his humans no matter what they are doing. Tug is a 6 year old Mastiff mix and he is the full package! Manners, social skills and a loving personality to boot.


He loves to explore outside but minds his human’s voice and comes right back when called. Being inside doesn’t faze him either; he is housebroken and does well being left alone with free reign of the house. He is always in a good mood, eager to please and seems to live with a smile on his face. He truly is the perfect roommate even if he won’t do the dishes or take out the trash.


Tug doesn’t do well with most other dogs, though can be a bit pushy with some especially around food and toys; he would do best being the only dog in the home. He does not do well with cats and will need a cat free home.

Tugs tail never stops wagging and he will be sure to fit right into any active home where he can get daily walks and lots of love and attention. He is a total joy to be around.

Tug is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.
