Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Maximillion! Max is a 2 1/2 year old purebred St. Bernard who is a real lovebug! He currently weighs 112 lbs but is still thin and underweight. He is gaining weight at a steady pace and should be up to his ideal weight in no time. Max is housetrained and crate trained and does well in the house. He prefers to be right where his people are. This big hunk of love is friendly with everyone and hasn't met a stranger. He is great with kids and is currently in a foster home with a 2 1/2 yr old and a 6 yr old. The foster family also has a laid back Golden Retriever he is doing well with as well. Maximillion MUST go to a home with a completely fenced in yard. For more information or an application, please contact wagntailsfoster@gmail.com. Here are some comments from his foster mom:
Maximillion “Max” was found as a stray under a boat in someone’s yard. He was severely underweight and dehydrated. A local shelter took him in and reached out to their foster network so he could find a temporary home until a family lucky enough to have him could be found.
Max came to us about a week ago and has blended in with our family. He is living with two small children (2 and 6) and a 2 year old golden retriever. He has had a few outings to the vet and groomer and has yet to meet a stranger he doesn’t like.
His transformation from being abandoned and alone to living in a home filled with love has been incredible. He is showing a great appetite and continues to put on weight. He is a beautiful dog with an amazing disposition. There have been no signs of aggression with other dogs, strangers or new experiences.
He is an absolute love and just wants to be with his people. He is a true Saint Bernard and possesses their best qualities loving, sweet, gentle and patient. After all that this sweet boy has been through, he continues to see the good in people and share his love.
