My story

Meet the kissable Kisska! This 4-year-old “pocket”-sized girl is currently in foster care and awaiting her forever home. Her stout, barely over 35lb frame is full of love, wanting be by your side as much as possible. Kisska loves meeting new people and greets them with a friendly lick “Hello.” She loves to show off her squeaky toys and even plays a light game of fetch. Kisska is recovering from TPLO surgery for a torn cruciate ligament but should recover full mobility. Trick training and work-to-eat toys keep her mind busy when she isn’t sunbathing and soak up human attention.

This laid back girl has lived with both cats and small kids, and would do well with another mellow dog. She is fully house-trained but needs frequent potty breaks. While she is apprehensive about her crate, she is slowly warming up to it with plenty of positive reinforcement and will sleep inside with the door open. She would prefer someone home more often than not while overcoming her separation anxiety.
