Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, I’m Jasper, Jaspy, J-Fos, exJasperating or a tall, cool glass of Jasperilla depending on the mood I’m in. If you are reading this then I’m guessing you want to know a little bit more about what makes me the marvelous guy I am.
Well, I was born on a lovely spring day….I didn’t have a calendar with me that day but the foster lady let me borrow one of hers and we counted back ….I thought April 18th sounded like a wonderful day so I told her that will be my birthday. I hear that puppies are born by the thousands every day so that isn’t any big feat but the rest of my story shows you how extraordinary I really am.
While wandering around in an area that I keep hearing called the Rez, I came across some 4 legged troublemakers who weren’t very nice to me. When I was found, I had some scary holes in my skin and my shoulder was ripped open and I was in terrible pain. I found myself in the one place that no pup wants to go, the dog pound. But I found nice people who cared about me and took care of me. Shelter volunteers and puppy rescuers with M.A.I.N. made me a priority and networked my handsome but sad mug all over the Facebark. In a matter of hours, they had snookered an unsuspecting foster for me. She had no idea how charming and fascinating I was and she still let me crash at her place for a while.
My first 2 ½ weeks in a foster home resulted in every other day bandage changes with snazzy colors and a strangely sweet smell that I just couldn’t reach. Then I moved into the next phase of needles, cheese whiz, lasers and multiple T shirt changes. All the while, I was stalked by the puparazzi who muttered things about an adoring public. While my early months have been a little unorthodox, I’ve had two cool foster brothers who taught me how to trust again and just relax and be a puppy.
Being this handsome and dapper has opened a few doors for me. Ladies across the country and around the world love me and I have been dazzling enough to win first place in a contest. This publicity has allowed me to live the good life and be eccentric in my tastes.
LIKES DISLIKES
Monkey toys trips to the doctor
Comfy beds needles and thermometers
Cheese whiz and tortilla chips cranky, barking dogs
Voicing my opinion to peeps and pups Wile E. Coyote
Belly tickles being too short to jump on the bed (for now)
I also love to collect small rocks from the yard outside and bring them in to chew on. That foster lady keeps taking them away but laughs and calls me her little Rock Star.
So this is my first chapter and it is coming to a close. I’m looking for my forever home. I love to play with people and pups. I’m housebroken and love sitting and talking to you. I’ve been told that I’m a brave, resilient boy with an unbreakable spirit. If you think that I might be the perfect fit for your home, please email medicalanimalsinneed@gmail.com and we can meet for our own little playdate. I promise that you won’t be disappointed. xoxoxo
