My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Max is a beautiful 1 year old purebred Golden retriever who was donated to us because his owner was too heavy handed with him and he was not the tough dog that his owner wanted... Thankfully we were able to show Max that people can be kind and he has flourished in our training program.
Max know all his basic commands and a few "tricks". Max is a typical Golden who bonds quickly and completely to his person, just be kind and he will follow you anywhere!!!

We believe that Max would do best in a home with older children or adults. (No kids under 16 please) He's great with other dogs, and would do well with friend to play with or by himself.
Max needs a loving confident owner who will kindly enforce the rules.
