My name is Tiger Lily; I’m a bit shy and I’ve never done this before so bear with me please.
I’m in a bit of a bind and I need some help. You see my people decided they didn’t want me anymore and now I’m homeless. I swear I don’t know why they didn’t want me! I’m a really good girl; a bit shy but I’m pretty easy to live with. I’ve been staying with some friends from Fuzzy Pawz Rescue lately and they are the ones who convinced me that the internet could help me find new people who will give me a forever home and love me just the way I am.
Now the hard part…I’m a 2 year old brindle coated female of Dachshund/Chihuaha descent and I weigh…ahem…10 pounds (give or take).
I LOVE to snuggle and will even follow you around the house just in case you need me to do something for you (like give you a kiss). I will gladly sleep in bed with you so you don’t get cold and lonely; but if you get to warm I am happy to sleep in my kennel.
I get along with other dogs as long as they aren’t too pushy and I totally ignore cats. I do like to play with other dogs so having one in my new home would be nice; not necessary though.
I play very nicely with older children 12 and older please; younger kids are just so noisy and they expect too much out of me. A good game of chase is always in order so I can show you how fast I am.
While I am a bit shy around strangers I will bark when the doorbell rings, but once my foster Mom says “quiet”; I know she has things under control. Oh yeah and I really like to go for rides in the car, everyone needs someone to ride shotgun.
I would really like to have a family that will help me meet new people and get over some of my shyness; a family where I can get tons of attention.
