Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
It may not be winter yet but we love warm Cocoa anytime of the year!
FOSTER LOCATION: West Jordan, UT
Six year old Chocolate Lab Cocoa is a dream dog and we are shocked that she ever ended up in the shelter. She is super sweet, relaxed; just a laid back kinda girl who likes to hang with you.
Cocoa is not just sweet but she is smart as well; she knows fetch, sit, stay, come, shake. Also knows the word “potty”; she runs to the back door. She does need a bit of leash work, but that will even out with consistent walks. If she is bored she will dig in the dirt; not to get out of the yard; just for something to do. Her foster family says one of the cutest things she does is if she's not sure about what you are asking she just turns her head with that “what are you talking about” look on her face.
She is super amazing and awesome with people of all ages. Cocoa really likes kids a lot and currently sleeps in bed with a 4 year old. She thrives being around you, with you and doing things with her people (well any people really). She will follow her foster mom around the house just so she is near; Cocoa can be a bit needy but with stability and a family to bond with she will relax and be at ease knowing she won’t be left again.
Cocoa gets along with other dogs and she doesn't seem to mind cats. She will follow the cats when they run but just to follow nothing else.
This warm hearted girl will bark when hearing noises like a knock or a door bell. Outside she likes to run and play fetch and lay out in the sun. Inside she knows it's time to relax and be calm. She loves to snuggle up next to you and when you pet her and stop she will nudge you to continue.
If you are looking for a little something extra sweet in your life then Cocoa just might be your girl.
Cocoa is spayed, vaccinated, house trained.
If Cocoa sounds like the perfect fit then please complete an adoption application at http://fuzzypawzrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application-2/ and we will contact you about meeting her.
There is a $40 adoption fee.
